Vrinda Techapps India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Payload CMS Developer to join our growing technology team in Hyderabad. We are looking for someone who has hands-on experience building scalable, API-driven websites and digital platforms using Payload CMS and understands modern Headless CMS architecture.
- Develop and maintain scalable solutions using Payload CMS.
- Design and implement custom content structures and reusable components.
- Develop APIs and integrations between Payload CMS and frontend applications.
- Work closely with UI/UX and frontend teams to convert designs into scalable digital experiences.
- Build custom CMS functionality based on project requirements.
- Implement authentication, permissions and role-based access.
- Optimize application performance, security and scalability.
- Debug issues and provide technical solutions.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
- Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, developers and QA teams.
- Strong hands-on experience with Payload CMS.
- Excellent knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript.
- Experience building and integrating REST APIs / GraphQL APIs.
- Good understanding of Headless CMS architecture.
- Experience with PostgreSQL / MongoDB and database design.
- Strong understanding of content modelling, collections, fields, relationships and access control in Payload CMS.
- Experience developing custom Payload CMS components, hooks and plugins.
- Experience integrating Payload CMS with modern frontend frameworks such as Next.js / React.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization and role-based access control.
- Experience with third-party API integrations.
- Knowledge of Git and modern development workflows.
- Understanding of deployment, CI/CD and cloud environments will be an advantage.
- Experience with Next.js / React.
- Experience migrating from traditional CMS platforms such as WordPress / Drupal / Strapi to Headless CMS.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working on enterprise-grade websites or multi-site platforms.
- Understanding of SEO, structured content and performance optimization.
- Someone who doesn’t just know how to use a CMS, but understands Headless CMS architecture and can take ownership of building scalable content platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently are highly valued.
